Lifesick (When Brutality Becomes the Language) CD

"The Danish doyennes of death metallic hardcore strike back with another furious full length that fell into place even more rapidly than the last one. Following their tenth anniversary in 2024, on this fifth long player the jaundiced Jutlanders have their methodology rigorously locked in. Once again long serving sound man Jacob Bredahl proved integral to the process: “Jacob understands exactly what we want Lifesick to sound like and how to push us to get there… At this point he almost feels like the sixth member of the band.”
The album emerges “ringing with the band's own sonic quirks… redolent of punk rock jam room intimacy and mired in deathly HM 2 crunch tones, but with a bitter tang that's entirely Lifesick.” Lyrically the record is grounded in “timeless themes of survival, confrontation and resilience,” feeling “less like giving in to darkness and more like fighting back against it.”"

Pre-orders: How Do They Work?

The latin prefix “PRE” means “before” and “order” is the action that you just did. You ORDERED BEFORE the release date. That means, you purchased or are about to purchase a record or sweet, exclusive bundle that has a street date in the future. This means you will not have your order shipped until the week leading up to the release date. This date varies by product and will be on the item description page, and on your order confirmation email. We will not ship until the week leading up to the release date so please be aware of what this date will be. Postage options may prevent you from getting your order exactly on release date, but we will ship ON or BEFORE the release date.
